By the staff of Pet Care

This April 22nd and 23rd you can find a new furry family member on four paws for a greatly reduced adoption fee. The “CHI-PITTY-KITTY” adoption event will be happening at all of the L.A. City animal shelters where adoption fees will be reduced by 50 percent.

Shelter locations can be found at This event, sponsored by the Pet Care Foundation, is for all Chihuahuas, Pit Bulls and cats/kittens because those are the most euthanized animals in the shelters.

You can view all adoptable pets currently in the L.A. City shelters at the website listed above. They are full of hundreds of wonderful pets just waiting to become your forever friend. “This is an excellent opportunity to save a life, get a great new companion and contribute to your community,” said Foundation Executive Director Bill Crowe.
