Chaminade College Preparatory’s One-to-One Student Tablet PC Program
Today’s students are a fast-paced, multi-tasking generation that can quickly “toggle” their attention. As a result of growing up in a multimedia world with cell phones and easy internet access, today’s students process information differently than the students of a generation ago. Rooted in the Catholic Marianist principle of educating for adaptation and change, Chaminade College Preparatory is meeting this challenge by offering a cutting-edge 21st century education with the One-to-One Student Tablet PC Program. Working with these tablet PCs has significantly enhanced the learning experience by delivering course content in a more relevant and interactive manner, enabling students to take an active role in their learning, rather than passively receiving information transmitted by a teacher lecture or a textbook.
