The 2013-14 school year at Mayfield Senior School is sure to be filled with discovery and achievements, in academics, athletics, the arts, and community engagement. The Freshmen Class of 2017 includes 74 students from 33 different schools who will join the student body of 300 young women grades 9-12. Mayfield students will continue the traditions of excellence in academics, arts, athletics, and service that have been the school’s distinction in Southern California for over 80 years. As a Catholic school in the Holy Child tradition, students live out the school’s motto, Actions Not Words through a robust Christian Service program.

Mayfield Senior School has a flagship college counseling program which supports students as they discover their true passions and identify the best college fit. Mayfield alumnae from the Class of 2013 are enrolled at 46 colleges and universities across the country, including Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Notre Dame, Cornell, UCLA, and USC.

This year Mayfield received honors from CIF as a “Champion for Character School,” recognizing our athletes as exemplifying the very finest in sportsmanship, character, integrity, and athletics. Conservatory for the Arts students will also be involved in a unique Arts Immersion in Italy program this spring and will work with professional artists and perform at a special Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica.

Discover the magic of Mayfield and see firsthand how a Holy Child education can change your daughter’s life. Mark your calendars to visit us during our Open House on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 12-4 p.m.
