The Wesley School opens its new Arts and Administration Building

By the staff of The Wesley School

The Wesley School in North Hollywood opened its doors in September ‘99, and has grown into a leading independent school in the San Fernando Valley.

As the school grew, a long-range plan was developed to address the evolving needs of the school and its students with the goal to complete construction of a new building by the Fall of 2016.

With the help of Wesley’s Board of Trustees and administration and the generous support of the school community, Wesley has added the new Arts and Administration Building to its charming and cozy campus. With building, classroom and brick naming opportunities, the entire Wesley community has united to make this dream a reality.

Wesley’s campus expansion has created comfortable space for its two classes per grade, and this first phase includes 5,500 square feet of new building space, a middle school multi-media art studio, two spacious classrooms, a community meeting room, an expanded resource center, a remodeled library, enhanced campus security and a lounge and collaborative workspace for faculty/staff.

To celebrate the opening of its new Arts & Administration Building, Wesley held two special events: an intimate ribbon cutting ceremony on September 8th led by school leaders,  the Student Council and the Class of 2017; and a New Building Open House on September 10th from 9am-12pm, that included tours, art activities, entertainment and more.
