Many people enter a Martial Arts school and really aren’t sure what they’re doing there. So I decided to try a class to see if this was for me and I enjoyed it immensely. I’m 34-years-old and always wanted to do Kung Fu but always put it off. After I tried the class, I realized that there’s no reason to put it off any longer. The class was fun, educational, and got me very motivated. I have since signed up at California Academy of Martial Arts and plan to take my son there when he’s old enough.
Learning Kung Fu in particular benefits children, teens, and adults in a variety of ways. It will teach you how to focus whether it’s at school or on the job as well as give you the benefits of fitness, self-confidence, and self-defense.
The Wing Chun style of Kung Fu is taught at California Academy of Martial Arts in Burbank. Sifu Todd Shawn Tei teaches the style that Bruce Lee himself studied. The school has been located in Burbank for 17 years. Sifu Tei has trained many celebrities and was also the bodyguard for Jackie Chan. His style is geared towards defending yourself in realistic street situations. The school teaches children, teens, and adults. It’s worth a visit to check it out. The staff is very professional and will answer all your questions. They also offer a free trial class for children.
