Arpy Dabbaghian is a professional decorative painter specializing in trompe l’oeil and fine art murals. Her educational background is in interior design and she studied and received specialized training in decorative arts in Paris.
She began her career in 1995 in Lebanon and moved to Paris and ultimately Los Angeles. Her stunning artistic creations can be seen in elegant homes, hotels, and businesses throughout Paris, Lebanon, Jordan, and California. In Paris she worked on the Hotel George V Paris, Hotel Elise Matingnon, Le Chateux d’Etoges, and many other fine establishments.
In 2002 she established her own business, L’Artist, here in Los Angeles. Her work is enjoyed in homes and businesses throughout Southern California and clients vary from interior designers, architects, design firms, contractors, to private home and business owners.
Artistic services include murals, faux finishes, decorative plasters, frescoes, and furniture hand paintings. Dabbaghian’s work has been highlighted in This Old House magazine and featured in The Pasadena Showcase House of Design for many years.
Her classic Mediterranean and European influences are drawn from her experiences in Lebanon and Paris, which have left a lasting impression on her work and are sure to satisfy a broad range of clientele with differing tastes and styles.
