For the past 25 years, Death Row Dogs Rescue has been dedicated to saving dogs on Death Row in the city and county shelters, as well as abandoned and neglected dogs in Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas.
We have many dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds in need of loving homes. All our dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all vaccines, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped.
We allow all of our adopters a two-week trial period with the dog to make sure it’s a good match. An adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to meeting any of our dogs. An adoption contract will be signed, a house check will be done and a donation is required upon adoption and placement of the dog. (Our adoptions are only open to Southern California residents.)
If you are not ready to make the commitment of owning a dog at this time, we are in need of foster homes. As a foster owner, we count on you to feed, walk, play with, love and care for the dog just as you would your own pet, while we remain financially responsible for the dog until a permanent home is found.
