Bellarmine-Jefferson High School, known to many as “Bell-Jeff,” has placed a high priority on individual attention; the teacher-student ratio is 1:15. The teachers and counselors work with students to help them achieve their academic goals. Parents, an important part of the teacher-student equation, are welcome to be involved in the school too!
A strong and diverse co-curricular program helps balance the academics and helps each student develop as a total person. The opportunities include a great visual and performing arts program, and a very strong athletic program. Students also benefit from a popular retreat program and lots of possibilities for community service.
Summer School Program
Many college-bound students use summer school to improve their standing for college admissions. Bell-Jeff is offering many college prep and enrichment courses this summer. (All information may be found on the website.)
Registration applications can be obtained at the school office or by visiting www.bell-jeff.net and, following the links for “Summer Session,” submit your form along with payment. (Visa and Mastercard are accepted.) Because we must hire summer teachers in advance, there is a late fee of $25 for registration after Friday, June 10, 2011.
