Laurence School congratulates the thirty eight remarkable sixth grade students of the 2014 graduating class. On June 5th, in a celebratory and touching graduation ceremony before family, friends, and faculty, these accomplished and confident young people shared cherished memories of their seven years at Laurence.

As we look to the future of Laurence School, we know that its success is measured, in large part, by students’ achievements today. This year, our sixth graders accomplishments include: Johns Hopkins Gifted and Talented Youth; CAPS (Culminating Academic Presentations); Kids’ Court (mock trial); published authors; Big Buddies to kindergarten students; and Student Ambassadors/Guides for prospective families.

Laurence is proud to again be matriculating our graduates to the area’s finest independent secondary schools. We salute them for the multiple acceptances they received and for each being admitted to their top choice school.

We also wish to congratulate the Laurence Class of 2008, graduating high school seniors who will be attending outstanding colleges throughout the country including Barnard, Brown, Chapman, Columbia, Emory, NYU, Smith College, Syracuse, Tulane, U of Chicago, U of Miami, U of Michigan, and USC.

We extend our best wishes to the Class of 2014 as they soar into the next chapter in their educational journey with character, citizenship, and the ability to engage in higher level creative and critical thinking.

Congratulations graduates and alumni! You will always have a home at Laurence.

Laurence will be celebrating all Alumni at a special reunion BBQ on Wednesday, June 11th at noon. For information contact Sue at skroopnick@laurenceschool.com.
