Maranatha Graduates Prepared for Success

Maranatha graduates have been accepted to many fine college and universities.

Maranatha High School proudly celebrates the commencement of the Class of 2011. The successes enjoyed by this year’s 177 graduates have resulted in a long list of college acceptances, demonstrating that the education opportunities for Maranatha graduates are nearly limitless. The Class of 2011 has been accepted to a broad range of outstanding schools, including Yale, MIT, Cal Tech, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, USC, U.S. Naval Academy, Wheaton, Harvey Mudd, the UC schools, as well as top performing arts and design schools.

Maranatha is a college preparatory Christian school located on eleven picturesque acres in Pasadena (adjacent to Old Town). The school provides an educational experience where individual talents are celebrated and nurtured, skills are prepared for a successful college experience, and students are encouraged to grow in their faith. Maranatha recognizes the need for students to develop as whole persons and offers opportunities in athletics, performing and visual arts, international missions, community service, and leadership training.

The school’s athletic program boasts 44 teams in 18 sports and features a state-of-the-art athletic field, pool and gymnasium. Performing arts students showcase their drama, vocal and dance talents on stage at the renowned Ambassador Auditorium. The sharpest minds are challenged with 29 AP and Honors courses from which to choose, and every student can find their niche in one of the 19 student clubs.
