READ ALL ABOUT IT! PAW is Inviting Bright Child Actors to Perform on Stage at The NoHo Arts Center

“To Be at PAW, or Not To Be at PAW? What a silly question.”

Performing Arts Workshops is offering beginning to advanced level child performers the chance to shine on stage in Sleeping Beauty – The Pop Opera or Vampire High…A Night School Musical at The NoHo Arts Center this summer. PAW is a veteran children’s performing arts company with over 20 years experience providing quality after school and summer camp programming to public and private schools in the Los Angeles area.

PAW’s Sleeping Beauty – The Pop Opera (August 9 to 20) is the classic tale of the sleeping princess told with a modern flair. Kids, ages 5-14, will learn the techniques of musical theater while performing their favorite hit songs of today.

In PAW’s teen week acting camp (August 23 – 27), teens ages 11 – 15 will delve into the creative process and stage Vampire High…A Night School Musical, a show comprised of original comedic and dramatic pieces as well as musical numbers from the greatest hits of pop and rock. Students will learn the fundamentals of actor training: playwriting, scene study, voice/ speech, auditioning, improv, Alexander Technique and more!

Also available is PAW’s Snap Photography Camp. Kids will master their social media world through digital photography. Kids learn fundamentals such as composition, camera settings, headshots, portraits and live action shots. They will receive their collected works in a portfolio to enjoy for years to come!
