5k and 10k for Women’s Health on Sept. 9

The 14th Annual 5K Run/Walk 10K Run and Kiddie K for Hope and Awareness benefits women’s health for ovarian cancer re-search and educational pro-grams.

The 14th Annual 5K Run/Walk 10K Run and Kiddie K for Hope and Awareness to benefit women’s health for ovarian cancer research and educational programs will be held on Sunday, Sept. 9, atCBSStudioCenterlocated at4024 Radford Ave.inStudioCity. There will be free parking at CBS. Registration is at 7 a.m., the event starts at 8 a.m., and also includes a Health Expo. Men and women’s pre-registration fee is $25 or $30 on the day of the event. Registration fee for children under 11-years-old is $5 (Kiddie K Walk/Run). Teams of six or more are $20 for each person.

Medals will be awarded in each age division for first, second, and third place and T-shirts will be given to all participants. This is a great event for the whole family!

There are many finish lines yet to cross, and the Los Angelesand San Fernando Valleycommunity effort has helped the Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Greater California take positive steps in the fight against ovarian cancer.  OCC appreciates the generous support in previous years, and looks forward to even greater participation and support in 2012.
