The Dodgers and Major League Baseball have released an additional 6,000 tickets for a potential Game 6 & 7 of the National League Championship Series at Dodger Stadium on Dodgers.com/ postseason. For as little as $51, fans can purchase individual tickets online, over the phone at (866) DODGERS, or at the Dodger Stadium box office for the following NLCS games:
- NLCS Home Game 3
Fri. Oct. 23 (if necessary)
- NLCS Home Game 4
Sat. Oct. 24 (if necessary)
With a victory tomorrow night, the Dodgers would ensure that a Game 6 would be played at Dodger Stadium. The first two NLCS games at Dodger Stadium were both played before capacity crowds of 56,000.
The 2009 National League West Division Champion Los Angeles Dodgers recently swept the St. Louis Cardinals to advance to the NLCS for the second consecutive season, marking the first time they have accomplished that feat since 1977-78.
The Dodgers are playing in the postseason for the 17th time since moving to Los Angeles and the 26th time in the history of the franchise. Los Angeles finished the regular season with the NL’s best record for the eighth time since moving to California prior to the 1958 season.
