It’s been a bit rocky for the Dodgers (62-51) since the All-Star break after going 9-8, but they are even with Arizona in the National League West despite losing two of three against Houston (71-42) at the Stadium this past weekend.

On Sunday, recently-acquired Brian Dozier ripped a two-run double in the first inning as the Dodgers prevailed 3-2.

The Boys of Summer were pounded 14-0 on Saturday and fell behind 1-0 on a homer from Marwin Gonzalez (three runs, two hits) in the second.

It was 5-0 in the sixth frame with the key hit being Yuli Gurriel (three hits, two runs) lashing a two-run double.

During a seven-run eighth, Martin Maldonado (two runs, two hits and three runs batted in) had a two-run double.

Evan Gattis added a sacrifice fly, George Springer had an RBI double and Josh Reddick (three hits, two runs) lined a three-run homer for a 12-0 edge.

When Jake Marisnick (two runs) walloped a two-run homer in the ninth inning the Astros pulled ahead 14-0.

Justin Verlander (11-6) held the Dodgers to four hits and one run during a 2-1 victory on Friday, striking out 14, walking one in seven and two-thirds innings.

The Dodgers smashed seven homers and routed Milwaukee 21-5 on Thursday at Chavez Ravine.

Joc Pederson (three runs) hit a solo shot and a three-run blast, Cody Bellinger (two runs, two hits) added a grand slam and had five RBIs, Yasiel Puig (three runs, three hits) clubbed a two-run bomb and a solo rocket and had four RBIs,  Dozier (two hits, two runs) hit a three-run laser and had four RBIs and Justin Turner (three hits) hit a two-run bomb that backed Clayton Kershaw (5-5), who allowed five hits, two runs with seven strikeouts and two walks over six frames.

The Dodgers beat the Brewers 6-4 on Wednesday behind Yasmani Grandal (three hits) hitting a two-run homer in the 10th after hitting a solo rocket.

Lorenzo Cain’s run-scoring double gave Milwaukee a 1-0 victory on Tuesday.

The Brewers downed the Dodgers 5-2 on Monday as Eric Thames hit a three-run bomb.
