Rock your body and roll with laughter this November at El Portal Theatre! 3000 Miles Off-Broadway Productions brings some of the greatest American music to the Debbie Reynolds MainStage with four great shows celebrating four different eras of American pop culture. Tickets can be purchased directly on the theatre’s website: ElPortalTheatre.com.

Producer Ron Kurtz says he is happy to be bringing shows again to the El Portal and the newly renamed Debbie Reynolds MainStage. “We do shows all over the country, but this is the best place to see the talent up close and personal. And these are our very best acts!” he says.

Jim Curry’s ‘Country Roads’

John Denver was the face of the generation of good, sincere people who got back to basics and celebrated the natural beauty of our country. Playing and singing the music of John Denver will be the amazing Jim Curry and his show Country Roads, featuring talented musicians including members of Denver’s actual longtime band. Get a little sunshine on your shoulders Sunday, November 5 at 1pm and 5pm.

Fortunate Son

Creedence Clearwater Revival holds a special place for America’s veterans after their controversial song “Fortunate Son” became the unofficial anthem of Vietnam soldiers and is the reason this rockin’ band is called Fortunate Son. Celebrate our men and women in uniform and get back to your roots with “Lookin’ Out My Back Door,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary,” “Born on the Bayou” and so many more classic rock anthems, played and sung with that authentic John Fogerty sound led by Brad Ford. Fortunate Son performs on Veteran’s Day, Saturday, November 11 at 3pm and 8pm.

The Long Run: Experience the Eagles

Gary Grantham of Eagles concert show experience The Long Run performs Sun., Nov. 12 at El Portal Theatre in NoHo.

The Long Run: Experience the Eagles is widely regarded as the finest Eagles concert show short of seeing the Eagles themselves! This group of extremely talented musicians and singers recreate the complex, multiple-guitar arrangements and rich harmonies made famous on songs like “Take It Easy,” “Hotel California,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “Take It to the Limit,” “Heartache Tonight” and many others. The Long Run continues to successfully blend the classic Eagles sound into their own genuine live performance style delighting audiences young and old with faithful recreations of some of the best music ever written. The Long Run performs Sunday, November 12 at 1pm and 5pm.

‘A Catskills Chanukah’

Rounding out the month is the hilarious and entertaining A Catskills Chanukah. This is a brand new comedy and variety show in the style of the great resorts and hotels in “East Vegas” affectionately known as “The Borcht Belt.” “We want to bring people back to a place and time where everybody enjoyed the Catskill Mountains and people celebrated the holidays in fun, family fashion,” says producer Kurtz. The show is loaded with music, jokes, and surprises including spot-on impressions of the greats of the era performed by host and comic, Robert Cait. Shows are on Sunday, November 26 at 1pm and 5pm.

Make it a “November to Remember” at El Portal! Tickets are always available on ElPortalTheatre.com or by calling the box office Monday–Friday 9:30am–4:30pm at (818) 508-4200. The historic El Portal Theatre is located at 5269 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood’s NoHo Arts District.
