I caught a wonderful “period” comedy in its World Premiere performance on the weekend

Along with the entire audience I laughed until I cried…and marveled at the STELLAR PERFORMANCES given throughout! Do not miss this one. It is a gem!

‘Resolving Hedda’

CLEVERLY written with ZANY BRILLIANCE by Jon Klein, and directed with a deliciously FAST- PACED FERVOR by Maria Gobetti, this flawless cast of seven actors take us on a HILARIOUS journey!

Abundant with colorful characters from Henrik Ibsen’s original play Hedda Gabler, Kimberly Alexander as Hedda gives an unforgettably CAPTIVATING performance throughout! An explosive little ball of fire with seamless switcheroos from old time ladylike language to current day bar room potty mouth, she was a jaded joy!

The all-round IMPRESSIVE cast, individually as well as in the ensemble effort includes: Tom Ormeny, Chad Coe, Marissa Van Den Borre, Ben Atkinson, Alyce Heath and Sean Spencer.

As always at this theatre, the behind-the-scenes efforts are MAGICAL in setting the perfect vibe for the given production. In this one, KUDOS to the entire onstage design team! GORGEOUS set design by Evan Bartoletti, BEAUTIFUL costume design by A. Jeffrey Schoenberg, sound design by Noah Andrade, lighting design by Carol Doehring and prop design by Gigi Palacio.

It takes great vision to set just the right mood for any production, catapulting the audience into the story at hand. This theatre just never misses a beat! Don’t miss this one! It is truly special and endlessly ENTERTAINING!

“Resolving Hedda” runs through Sunday, November 12 at The Victory Theatre located at 3326 W Victory Blvd. in Burbank. For more information and to reserve seats visit TheVictoryTheatreCenter.org or call (818) 841-5421.
