Rocker Roger Daltrey’s ‘Live Talks’ event set for Tues., Oct. 23

Roger Daltrey, lead vocalist and founding member of The Who, will be interviewed as part of the Live Talks LA series on Tuesday, October 23 at 8pm in downtown L.A. He will be discussing his memoir, Thanks a Lot Mr. Kibblewhite: My Story.

Daltrey’s career has spanned more than 50 years. A daytime worker at a sheet metal factory, he first assembled The Who in 1961, recruiting John Entwistle and agreeing to John’s proposal that Pete Townshend should join. Daltrey was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and received a Kennedy Center Honor in 2008.
