Singer, songwriter, performer, daughter, mother, wife, and beautiful person inside and out, Susannah Blinkoff sings her heart and soul out in a riveting one woman show, Daughter of… at the Three Clubs Lounge in Hollywood.
She opens the show with a powerful song, “Me… I’ll Be Just Fine,” with poignant and compelling lyrics, as she reveals her journey to finding herself. She is the daughter of famed composer Carol Hall, writer of award winning pieces including “Hard Candy Christmas” (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas); “Parents are People”; and “It’s Alright to Cry” (Free to Be… You and Me).
This amazing actress, singer, and storyteller brings her life journey, both struggles and triumphs, to the stage. The show, originally planned as a collaborative effort with her mother, culminated in a solo show, as Blinkoff brilliantly sets her feelings to music. This one woman autobiographical show, replete with footage of her family and life journey, gives a personal memoir of her life, growing up in Manhattan, and ultimately relocating to Los Angeles.
With her fierce “I will Survive” dynamism and her immense vocal talent, she impeccably carries her show ‘solo,’ captivating her audience throughout. A profound lyric says it all: “There’s this strange in-between place where you shape the truth into something better.”
