Voter Outreach and Education Campaign Press Conference
Join us for the launch of “L.A. City Votes!”, our first voter outreach and education campaign designed to inform and educate voters about the upcoming City of Los Angeles 2013 Municipal Elections.
Through L.A. City Votes!, the Office of the City Clerk-Election Division will conduct comprehensive voter outreach and education presentations, distribute outreach materials in English and nine languages, and conduct Get-Out-the-Vote activities with the assistance of partner organizations.
City Clerk June Lagmay will hold a press conference to discuss details of the campaign which will take place at the City Hall lawn on 1st Street.

East Valley Police Hosts Community Luncheon

The East Valley Police Activity League Supporters held its annual Police Community Partnership Luncheon yesterday, in conjunction with the North Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Councilmember LaBonge was on hand to bestow his signature loaves of pumpkin bread on the honorees. The luncheon, now in its 44th year, honored police officers and civilians for their heroism throughout the previous year.
