Toluca Lake’s own Kassandra Carroll as screen siren Marilyn Monroe is on the go.

First, the bubbly actress and singer earned a top finalist position at a recent nationwide “Spirit of Marilyn” competition. Next, she helped kick off the grand opening of the brand new Hollywood flagship “Out of the Closet” location on Lankershim Boulevard. Then she was whisked off to Las Vegas by limo to appear with celebrity car customizer George Barris for the international Las Vegas Car Stars event. And just last weekend she was mobbed at the celebration of what would have been Marilyn’s 87th birthday party at the 26 ft. tall sculpture of the icon in Palm Springs, leaving joyful fans literally in tears.

“I was so amazed at the outpouring of love shown to me in Palm Springs as we celebrated Marilyn’s birthday at the statue,” Carroll says. “There were young and old and even people with their pets who wanted to be photographed with me. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

What sets Carroll apart from other Marilyn look-alikes? Start with a heart of gold and a warm, effervescent personality. Next, throw in a healthy dose of glamour and style, and finally sprinkle in an air of innocence that is irresistible.

Carroll’s next project is the preparation of an all-out tribute show to Monroe complete with symphony orchestra. Besides her career as a celebrity impersonator, Carroll is working on a new network TV series about Hollywood memorabilia and fielding various film, TV, and online offers.
