On Saturday, May 23, there will be a Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) all breed cat show to be held at the Glendale Civic Auditorium. The show will feature breeds of cats from all over the world; magnificent cats with long flowing coats such as the Persians and the long, sleek breeds such as the Siamese, Abyssinians and the Oriental Shorthairs.
But you can also expect to see such exotic cats as the Sphynx (a true hairless cat), the Cornish Rex with a natural wavy coat, the leopard-like Ocicat and, the giant of domestic cats and a true natural American breed, the Maine Coon.
Although our show features pedigree cats in competition, it also has a household pet division featuring mixed breed domestic cats in equally fierce competition for “Best in Show.”
For those of you looking to add a new member to your family, there will be many kittens and cats available, looking for a “forever home.” If you are looking for a new treat or toy for your cat, this is the place to find them. If you have questions about nutrition or grooming, this is the place to get them answered. If you need a new cat scratching post, a bed, unique cat-related apparel or gifts for you or your friend, you will find no better place to purchase these items then the CFA cat show in Glendale.

Please come and enjoy yourself, meet wonderful cats and people too. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors, military personnel and children under 12. There is a family pack for $15 available as well. The cat show will be Saturday, May 23 from 10am-6pm at the Glendale Civic Auditorium located at 1401 N. Verdugo Rd., Glendale, CA 91208.
