With that notion in mind, the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center (PAC) at College of the Canyons invites you to celebrate the spirit of the season with a performance that is sure to provide an evening of nostalgic indulgence and holiday cheer for all children, both young and old!

On Saturday, Dec. 14, at 8 p.m., award-winning pianist and composer David Benoit will bring his lifelong passion for the music of original “Peanuts” composer Vince Guaraldi, to the PAC main stage for “Charlie Brown and Friends: A Christmas Concert.”

As part of the PAC’s ongoing K-12 Arts Education Outreach Program, a group of local fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade students from the West Creek Academy Glee Club has also been invited to perform alongside Mr. Benoit.

In keeping with the theme of the concert, the students have been preparing for their big stage debut by rehearsing a selection of holiday favorites and “Peanuts” classics handpicked by Benoit, including “Christmastime Is Here,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” “Linus & Lucy,” and of course, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.”

If you let your family miss this show you’ll be saying “good grief” all season long!
