Help bring Bandit home

At the end of Barbra Streisand’s 2017 Netflix concert, Barbra: The Music, The Mem’ries, The Magic, she pays tribute to her beloved dog who passed at 14, Samantha, whom kept her company thru many concerts and travels. She said, “She was at every performance. It was like losing a child.”

For Debi and Ron, they found themselves in a similar circumstance, yet different, in that their beloved Maltese, Bandit, was stolen from their SUV in Studio City eight weeks ago.

Bandit was raised by Debi from nine-weeks-old and is an integral part of the family. He is now 10-years-old.

It is believed that Bandit may have been re-homed in Studio City or the North Hollywood area – and those whom may have taken him in may not know that he belongs to another family. Bandit is microchipped, neutered and has very specific features.

Debi and Ron are diligently working to bring Bandit back home. TV’s ABC-7 News ran the story on September 28 and 29.

The family is asking residents of the Studio City and North Hollywood communities that if they acquired a 10-year-old old Maltese recently to please consider the situation and return Bandit to his family.

The separation for this family is heartbreaking and devastating.

Much support has been given from the various North Hollywood lost animal pages on Facebook, but even more love has poured out from individuals who seek to selflessly take their time online to aid not only in Bandit’s return, but also to help countless other families seeking to find their lost animals within the community.

The community’s support and actions will be the key in finding Bandit and reuniting many more.

Please call Bandit’s parents at (702) 493-6043 with any information.
