Maranatha High School invites you to “Experience the Maranatha Difference” at our Open House on this Saturday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. At Maranatha, individual talents are celebrated and nurtured, students are prepared for a successful college experience, and growth is encouraged in the areas of faith and service.
With a rich, 45+ year history, Maranatha’s programs continue to expand, creating a wide variety of opportunities for our students. The school’s athletic program boasts 44 teams in 20 sports and features a state-of-the-art athletic field, pool, and gymnasium. Performing arts students showcase their drama, music (vocal/orchestra), and dance talents on stage at the renowned Ambassador Auditorium.
The sharpest minds are challenged with 32 AP and Honors courses from which to choose, and every student can find their niche in one of the 30 student clubs and organizations including international travel opportunities and leadership training.
It’s no wonder that Maranatha students enjoy acceptance to a wide variety of four year colleges, including Yale, MIT, Cal Tech, Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth, Westmont, USC, Seattle Pacific, Wheaton, Harvey Mudd, Point Loma, West Point, NYU, and art and design schools.
Maranatha is a college preparatory Christian high school located on eleven picturesque acres in Pasadena, adjacent to Old Town.
