“April Showers” is the theme of the Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show presented by Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Guild. The event will take place on Saturday, April 28, in the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Universal Hotel.
The festivities start at 10:30 a.m. with a boutique featuring jewelry, hand bags, and gift items.
The producer of the show is Lucinda Miedema and will feature fashions by David Meister, the Carlisle Collection, and Elisabeth Saba Custom Knits. Entertainment will be by Michael and Natalia, Ballroom Dance Professionals.
Harold Greene will be the Master of Ceremonies. Mr. Greene serves on the Catholic Charities Board of Trustees and the Archdiocesan Youth Employment Services of Los Angeles. He is an avid golfer and body board surfer and enjoys road trips visiting family with his wife, Charlene.
The highlight of the show will be the Physician Models of Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center.
There will be a special $10,000 Cash Prize. Only 250 tickets will be sold and can be purchased in advance at the Gift Gallery of the Medical Center or at the event.
This is the Guild’s major fund raising event of the year. The Guild has pledged $500,000 to the Hycy and Howard Hill Neuroscience Institute in Burbank for the treatment of Stroke, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s.
Lucy Brown and Jo Massimini, who chair the event, and Kathleen Marsden, President of the Guild, need your help to make this special day a success.
