A new and exciting program has taken off at St. Paul’s First Lutheran School in North Hollywood! The pre-kindergarten for four-year-olds is further developing the rock-solid foundation that all students build at St. Paul’s all the way from preschool to 8th grade.
Teacher Melissa Nehls is leading the way with a well-balanced program of academics, creative hands-on activities, and constructive play. Every child in the program is guided for individual growth and development. The all-encompassing curriculum enables every four-year-old in the class to grow spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially, and physically.
Melissa states, “It’s such a well-rounded program and will give kids a great jumpstart for kindergarten. The children come to school every day excited and eager to learn.”
Parent Paul Meitner was thrilled to share that his daughter recently wrote her first sentence in the class inscribing, “I love my dog!” He joked that he was not too disappointed that dad or mom were not the subject of her “written love.” Paul was just very impressed with his child’s growth and progress.
St. Paul’s has a 66-year history of offering an outstanding education rooted in the Christian faith building children up for life and eternity.
You are invited to check out the kindergarten classes at St. Paul’s and all the grade levels at St. Paul’s Open House on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
