Windsor Square – Hancock Park Historical Society
The fourth annual Windsor Square-Hancock Park Garden Party & Tour will open six historic private gardens to the public just in time for the height of the spring blooming season. The tour, a unique opportunity to see the private spaces of some of the oldest and most beautiful properties in Los Angeles, is scheduled for Sunday, April 19.
The tour begins and ends at the Frances Blend School for the Visually Impaired. Proceeds from the tour will be used to fund the creation of a sensory garden for blind, and multiply handicapped children at the Frances Blend School.
This year’s tour is being held in honor of Carolyn Ramsay, Director of Communications for Los Angeles City Councilmember Tom LaBonge, and Paramount Pictures. Paramount Studios is being honored for its numerous contributions to its surrounding neighborhoods.
Following the tour, all attendees are invited to return to the school for a light supper, the silent auction and opportunity drawing and a presentation to this year’s honorees.
