North Hollywood Regional Library Events!

  • As part of its Great Books on Film Series the North Hollywood Regional Library will screen the motion picture classic “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” starring Charles Laughton and Maureen O’Hara and based on the novel by Victor Hugo. The showing will take place on Saturday, October 24 at 2pm. Admission is free.
  • Get in the Halloween spirit with an all-day Horror Movie Marathon at the North Hollywood Library on October 31 from 11am-5:30pm. The chilling lineup features “The Mummy” with Boris Karloff; “Frankenstein” with Karloff; Hitchcock’s “Psycho” and “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.” Free admission and refreshments.
  • The Friends of the North Hollywood Library will hold a blowout book sale on Saturday, November 7 from 10am-2pm. Thousands of books, CDs, DVDs and videos will be available at clearance prices.
  • Peter Sellers, as Inspector Clouseau, bumbles his way through the comedy classic “A Shot In The Dark” on Thursday, November 5 at 2pm. Free admission and free popcorn!
