What kind of event featured folks going wild over kitty litter, diamonds, and more? It was just another fabulous luxury lounge hosted by GBK’s Gavin Keilly at the W Hotel in Hollywood prior to the Emmy telecast. Even Emmy emcee Neil Patrick Harris took a break from the countless musical numbers rehearsals to stop by and enjoy all the fabulous sponsors.

So many Emmy nominees and presenters were on hand, Glee’s Dot Marie Jones, Mad Men’s Harry Hamlin, Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte, and more. All were having fun, especially when they played a game to support the SPCA in Los Angeles. It was a highlight to watch celebrities participate in “the litter toss” hosted by Tidy Cats’ new LightWeight 24/7 Performance. No one looked lovelier tossing her litter than Mary Murphy, So You Think You Can Dance judge. For every litter jug tossed, Tidy Cats donated $100 to the spcaLA. A combined effort from the sponsor and GBK had a total of $49,000 raised for charity. Meow, that’s a lot of litter.

Ed O’Neill, of the Emmy-winning comedy series Modern Family, did his toss in character as a cat. And the Emmy-winning supporting actor in a comedy, Tony Hale from HBO’s Veep went for the long distance super macho toss, pretending the LightWeight litter was heavy. That’s acting.

Before the third season premiere of ABC’s Revenge, Helzberg Diamonds’ Infinity X Infinity collection made its debut at the GBK lounge. The jewelry was inspired by the riveting drama and the double infinity symbol that motivates Emily Thorne’s love and passion for revenge. Mad Men’s Linda Cardellini showed a passion for it too, as did Dancing With the Stars’ Karina Smirnoff and Southland’s Regina King. Talking about the show, Brianna Brown from Devious Maids revealed she just shot an episode of Revenge. “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend,” said Chris Noth, whose cheating character on The Good Wife should know the Infinity X Infinity jewelry would be a great way to say “I’m sorry.”

To toast the special occasion there was Total Wine & More and Truett Hurst, America’s largest independent retailer of fine wine, spirits, and beer, on site gifting Square, their sustainably farmed fine wine that’s in a square wine bottle. What a great idea. So was sampling the authentic Mediterranean food products from Oasis Mediterranean Cuisine. Great hummus and a tasty way to enjoy a healthy diet. And No Think Diet, offered celebs a membership to their daily meal plan and exercise program that literally requires no thinking.

The Artisan Group with its lovely collection of jewelry, stationery, fine art photography, bath products, and other handcrafted gifts always draws attention from the stars oohing and aahing over their items. More celebrities were tickled pink to see all the wonderful beauty and fashion products and services including Sweat Shop LA’s infrared sauna sessions, Barbar Hair Tools, Pelo Vibrant Hair Extensions, the Headware Loopscarf, and the always impressive imPRESS Press On Manicure by Broadway Nails. And I learned the secret of a flawless figure is a flawless foundation with TC Intimates superior shapewear.

Delectable sweets and treats were also featured by gourmet sponsors including the famous Blondie’s Cookies from Shark Tank, Cookie Daddy Artisan Cookies, Prima Dolce Company’s Bella’s Fruit Compotes, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches LLC, Lovely Candy Company, handmade Cocopotamus Chocolate treats, and Sequin Wines. And what could be sweeter than a certificate for as luxury destination from Caribbean Living.

It was a fun-filled day of celebrating and fundraising which benefitted some great charities including The Creative Coalition, Lambda Legal, and GUARDaHEART Foundation. Friends’ Matt LeBlanc, Vegas’ Dennis Quaid, Parks and Recreation’s Jim O’Heir, Copper’s Alfre Woodard, Case Histories’ Jason Isaacs, Falling Skies’ Terry O’Quinn, Community’s Yvette Nicole Brown, and many more were seen among the many happy faces enjoying the GBK event.
