The Pacific Railroad Preservation Association, in collaboration with Happy Canyon Productions, is pleased to announce a main line excursion along the Columbia River this September 10-12 pulled by the Spokane, Portland & Seattle 700 steam locomotive. Two options are available:

*Train-only tickets include luxury train travel along the scenic Columbia River gorge from Portland Union Station to Pasco, WA, and return;

*Train-and-Rodeo package tickets include the same luxury train excursion plus two night’s lodging, all meals, and admission to both the 2014 Pendleton Round-Up, one of the top rodeos in North America, and to Happy Canyon’s iconic Night Show Old West Pageant.

Luxury Train Travel Tickets are $670 to $2146 per person and are available at http://ticketswest.com/events/northwest-steam-rodeo-special/23925/.

You can select the class of seat you’d like and whether you want to share your hotel room with another passenger in your ticket order (double occupancy) or have your own room(s)(single occupancy).

Four levels of seating are offered including dome seats, private compartments, business/lounge car seats, and coach. Seats will be available on a “first come, first served” basis, so order your tickets early to secure the best seating. Dome seats sell quickly! Enjoy luxury accommodations aboard these fully restored and privately owned passenger cars.

The Pacific Railroad Preservation Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the Pacific Northwest’s railroad legacy. The PRPA’s primary task is the restoration, maintenance, and operation of the SP&S 700.
