Upscale, stylish, and hopping-hot fun especially on the weekends, Stir is an unusual breed of restaurant and lounge. Its food is elegant. Its vibe is chic and smoothly contemporary.
Stir features 12 big-screen TVs for major sports events and a DJ who spins cool tunes Friday and Saturday nights, when the kitchen stays open until midnight and music until 2 a.m. “It’s like a one-stop shop to go on a date, eat good food, have great hand-mixed cocktails, watch a game, and socialize,” says manager Bobby Rahmani.
Stir has multiple personalities. Weekend nights are generally party nights; Taco Tuesdays are a close second, with a DJ, $2-tacos, and $4-drinks all night long. Wine Wednesdays take on a mellower tone; couples whose food tab tallies $40 or more get a free bottle of wine with dinner. The last Thursday of every month is Singles Night for networking and mingling. Happy Hour is seven days a week until 7:30, with discounts on drinks and selected menu items.
Stir opens at 4 p.m. on weekdays to serve up such favorites as Peruvian White Fish Ceviche, Assorted Fried Empanadas, the spicy Serrano Burger, and barbecued back ribs that are “out of control,” Rahmani says. It opens at noon on Saturdays for games and sporting events when Stir’s 12 different draft beers are in especially high demand. Sunday Brunch, served 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is great for people watching on the Boulevard and enjoying Stir’s beloved Bottomless Mimosas and brunch fare such as the famous Grilled Skirt Steak and Eggs.
