The Vintage Market comes to Pierce College this fall, Oct. 27, Nov. 25, and on Dec. 15. The market is the creation of the co-founders of Topanga Vintage Market, Patrice Curedale and Lori Rotblatt, who after canvassing the West Valley for a new venue with room to expand, realized Pierce College is an amazing fit.
Pierce College is only a few blocks away from TVM’s original location at Westfield Promenade, where it began 18 months ago. “We have over 180 dealers at the show, and many have told us that they used to sell at Pierce a long time ago and are excited to return,” says Rotblatt. “We have an average of 2,800 shoppers every month at our market, so it’s a great place for anyone selling a vintage collection of anything from jeans to comic books to antiques. At our market, anything over 20 years old is ‘vintage,’ including me!” quips Curedale.
The flea market is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 27, Nov. 24, and Dec. 15. Admission is $2, kids under 12 are free, and there will be food trucks all day and live music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
