David Blatter and Leeman Parker read a spectator’s mind in
“How to Convincingly Fake Honesty.”

Abracadabra! David Blatter and Leeman Parker have successfully melded the wonders of magic and the blunders of stand up into one spectacular laugh riot with their hit, How to Convincingly Fake Honesty. Selling out last year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival showcase — and winning multiple awards on top of it — this year’s second collaboration between David and Leeman is directed by famed magician and consultant, Jon Armstrong.

This year, leave the capes and wands at home. Stylishly dressed in pencil suits, David and Leeman aren’t your average magicians — there are no rabbits in hats or women to cut in half. Instead this comedy duo keeps a rapt audience enthralled with interactive, thought-provoking tricks. Ingenious, hilarious, and dangerous, David and Leeman run a tight stage with mind-boggling maneuvers that are difficult to comprehend, but easy to enjoy.

With their well-timed jokes, illusions galore, and even a dose of Houdini, David and Leeman produce major laughs for this year’s Fringe Fest. Years of magic and improv up their sleeve, this talented team is more than just smoke and mirrors. With the wave of a hand, How to Convincingly Fake Honesty is a crowd pleaser across the board.

How to Convincingly Fake Honesty runs from June 13 until June 23 at the Open Fist Theater located at 6209 Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at or at Showtime is approximately 1 hour.
