World Premiere of The Animals and Me at the Raven

Chicky and Wolfy in a café.

Bonaventura Entertainment presents The Animals and Me, an enchanting original play by Vinnie Torrente.

The Animals and Me is about the challenges, joys and rights of all mankind as seen through the eyes of animals. Our beloved Wolf and his family are being stripped of everything they own. They are being hunted, imprisoned or killed. Can the animal kingdom band together and save the wolf’s tail in time? The constitution protects their rights, or does it? Humor abounds in this enchanting story that unfolds a universal message.

The cast includes: Julie Barry (Chicky), Kyle Clare (Tom Cat), Meyer Deleeuw (Wolfy), Matthew Dorio (Officer Hog), Joshua Grenrock (Owl), John Moskal (Judge Gorillo), Mark Rebernik (Attorney Katz), Chris Sloan (Bear), Cynthia Wilber (Officer Peggy) and Jeff Williams (Sheep).

The show opens Friday, November 19 at 8 p.m. and plays Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. through December 12 at the Raven Playhouse, 5233 Lankershim Blvd. in the heart of the NoHo Theatre and Arts District. Tickets are $20 and $15 for seniors and groups. For reservations and information, call (323) 960-7726 or visit
