Facey Medical Group employs more than 160 physicians in multiple specialties dedicated to providing comprehensive medical services to over 170,000 residents in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, San Gabriel, and Simi Valleys. Facey Medical Group operates 11 multi-specialty medical group clinics and two urgent care centers.

Facey’s newest office across the street from Providence St. Joseph Medical Center will bring Burbank residents a new choice for primary care services. Currently, three physicians are practicing in a temporary office at 2601 West Alameda while construction on their larger permanent home is going on next door at 191 South Buena Vista.

Facey Medical Group is affiliated with Providence Health & Services, which has strong ties to the area. The Facey/Providence affiliation includes plans to create a more integrated and affordable health care solution for people living and working in the region.

Doctors Ileana Shaw (family medicine), Lisa Kao (pediatrics), and Tri Dao (family medicine) have already established relationships with many local specialists in order to keep health care convenient for patients.

All three Facey doctors are area residents and look forward to caring for their neighbors. “We’re very excited to bring Facey to Burbank,” Dr. Shaw says. “Our group is dedicated to providing innovative health care to the community and after more than 25 years with Facey in their Northridge office, it’s great to be working closer to home.”

Doctor Kao is excited to start introducing patients to FaceyConnect, the online service that lets users schedule appointments, exchange messages with their doctor, request prescription refills, and much more. “I think FaceyConnect will enhance the doctor-patient relationship,” she says. “People appreciate the convenience of being able to manage their care on their own time without having to spend several minutes on hold.”

Dr. Dao grew up in Burbank and recently finished his residency at Glendale Memorial. “Establishing a practice in my hometown with Facey was an exciting opportunity that I couldn’t pass up,” he says.

Facey’s Burbank office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Facey is not an insurance company so you are able to choose a Facey physician at any time.
