Charity Cocktail Party
The Toluca Lake Lions are holding a charity cocktail party on Saturday, April 30. The charities benefited include Shane’s Inspiration, the Foothill Service Center for the Blind and the District 4L-1 Blind Fishing Trip.

The Glendale Quilt Guild is hosting its 32nd Annual Quilt Show. The quilt show is being held March 18, 19 and 20 at the Burbank Airport Marriott in Burbank. La Galeria Gitana kicks off the exhibit “Rediscovering San Fernando at 100,” where artists present the historic landmarks and slices of life in the area. Emmy Winner Draws Inspiration
Décor Art Galleries, in Studio City, will host the book launch of Drawings from the Left or Parkinson’s Pictures by Emmy award-winning animator, director and producer James “Tim” Walker. Tim lost the use of his right hand to Parkinson’s Disease in 2007. Drawings from the Left follows his journey as he teaches himself how to create with his left hand.

This event will find loving homes for hundreds of shelter animals, and educate the public about being environmentally-conscious pet guardians.
