Burbank Christmas Nativity Festival: Featuring Nativities from the Private Collection of Bob and Dolores Hope
The Burbank Christmas Nativity Festival is a great way to kick off the Christmas season. Catch the Christmas spirit as you marvel at hundreds of nativities from around the world, including 15 nativities from the private collection of Bob and Dolores Hope. Step back in time and visit Bethlehem on its holiest night as you tour our Live Nativity Scene. Bring the entire family for the many children’s activities that celebrate the joy of the season!
Live music will fill the air and warm your heart during the entire Festival! Performances include, Walter Reed Middle School’s Concert Choir, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Children’s Choir, ARC Bell Ringers, Burbank native and soprano Julie Adams, and Acts from Burbank High School’s Choir. Ending the evening on both Saturday and Sunday will be the “Hallelujah Chorus” and Community Sing-Along. All are invited to join in!
And to help capture the Spirit of Giving this Christmas season, we are teaming up with the Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC). BTAC is dedicated to providing the poor, working poor, and homeless of our local community with basic services they need to live and to serve citizens of the city in times of emergency and disaster. Please bring any non-perishable food items or an unwrapped toy. Help us stock BTAC’s shelves!
The Festival is open to the public and admission is FREE! It begins Friday, Dec. 6, from 6—9 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 7, 4—9 p.m.; and ends on Sunday, Dec. 8, 5—8 p.m. It’s located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 136 N. Sunset Canyon Dr. in Burbank (at the top of Orange Grove).
