Chandler School Challenges, Nurtures Students

Caring. Challenging. Committed. Chandler Schools’ mission is to provide each student with the highest quality and most academically-challenging education in a nurturing, balanced and diverse environment. We strive to have our students gain a love of learning, a means of thinking independently and an ability to work collaboratively.
Since 1950, Chandler has been a leader in elementary education in the San Gabriel Valley. Our enrollment is 420 students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The four and one-half acre campus offers a sweeping view of the Arroyo Seco.
A Chandler education seeks to develop good character, self-reliance and a commitment to community in students as a foundation for academic and personal success. Students are encouraged to participate in sports, art and drama as well as community service.
While traditional in its approach to education, Chandler is an enlightened school supporting many methods of teaching and many styles of learning. A changing world demands that we prepare our students to enter a competitive high school environment. Chandler offers an advanced technology program that helps prepare students for leadership roles in a globalized, technologically-sophisticated world. Chandler’s graduating eighth grade students go on to attend the major independent schools in the area.
For interested families, Chandler’s Admissions Open House will be Saturday, November 14.

Chandler School is located at 1005 Armada Dr., Pasadena, CA 91103. For more details on Chandler School please visit www.chandlerschool.org.
