Los Feliz Village Street Fair Is This Weekend
Now in its 20th year, the Los Feliz Village Street Fair unfurls its magic this Saturday, Sept. 7, from noon to 11 p.m.
The Los Feliz Village Business Improvement District (BID), which produces the annual event, welcomes the Fair back to Hillhurst Avenue between Franklin Avenue south to Clayton Avenue. The Fair is free to the public.
As always, Los Feliz and the neighboring communities’ fine array of restaurants will be on hand to dish out some of the best food this city has to offer.
Two stages will host local, up and coming and established bands, dance performances, as well as classes from Heartbeat House and Interactive Fun and Games from Radio Disney.
The LA Kings Ice Crew, the promotions team for the Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings, will be on site with some great Kings prizes, and a chance to win Kings autographed merchandise.
Not to be missed are the popular beer and wine gardens with the addition of spirits this year, plus a wide array of unique and trendsetting vendors, and plenty of children’s activities.
As part of the Los Feliz Village BID’s commitment to end homelessness, they have united with PATH (People Assisting the Homeless) as their non-profit partner. A portion of the proceeds from the fair will go to support PATH. The Fair also acknowledges its First Class Sponsor, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, for all they do for the community and for their generous support of the Fair.
